This Friday evening at 7:30 Timmy Tami and Ronnie will be kickin’ it at Music of the Vine In Caldwell!
We have a few new tunes we want to play for you so come on down and join the fun.
Practice Practice Practice
Tonight at practice, we picked up a new song, 9 lives. We decided on which recordings are going onto the new CD and which we will be re-recording. the plan is to record 2 songs each week and we should have something ready for our next show at the Vine. I wish you could have been here tonight, we all had such a good time.

I have been working on the cover art and branding for the Acousticat’s first CD it’s going to be called 9 Lives and will include live tracks from past performances and tracks recorded in the Corona Studios at Ronnie Record and a brand new title song 9 lives.
In other news, Congratulations to Tami on her new Cello.She picked it up last Thursday and It is awesome Truly a companion for life! A hearty THANK YOU ! to everyone who contributed to the cello fund. This could not have happened without your support. It’s like our song Lay down your arms says… “Ask for what you want and believe it’s on the way, Be thankful for what is good in your life and more will come your way“

Last night
We all had such a great time at Music Of the Vine! There were lots of friends and a fantastic audience.
A few glitches with the sound system but after we got that ironed out it was “On with the show!” Dave was there to help us get it on to tape and I am planning on posting the entire show on archive.org I’ll post a download link here as soon as it is available. There will also be a link for pictures:

Ready for the weekend
Tonight we ran through the song list from top to bottom, made some final adjustments and we are ready and anxious for this weekend’s show at Music of the Vine. It is going to be a lot of fun. with family and friends coming out for the show, we should be able to relax and have a good time.

You might notice a new tune “3 Babies” it’s from a mother’s point of view so for some it might feel a little odd to hear it from a male voice. But, the beauty of the lyric and melody rise above that. I think it will make a great addition to our set list. Besides, I just love my Sinead O’Connor.
